Oil spills are when a tanker or when a boat crashes into something. There is an oil spill about every day but this does not mean that a boat crashes every day it can also be when it is natural or when a well explodes. Did you know that 48% of the oil spilled into the ocean is natural? And only 17% is when a boat crashes. Many animals are endangered because of oil spills.
